Dang, the size and features I want but the reviews don't look very good at all.

The reviews aren't bad - http://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/sony/x900c
Seems a lot of people complaining about light bleed though.

Similar 65" Sony around for $1k or less?

I noted the PC Richard's deal for the 65" x810c for $1k but it'd be ~$1.1k for me w/ tax (NY).

Been searching actively for past week, thank in-advance!

how many of you are watching 4k programming today that will take advantage of this.. I shouldn't talk because I got the Hisense 4k, but for this price, what would anyone really get out of it, except better gaming? wait, is any console 4k right now?

I bought the 65" version about 3 months ago but returned it due to horrendous light bleed around the entire perimeter of the TV. It's too bad because the X900C does many things well such as incredible triluminous colors, razor sharp 4K, ultra thin form factor. On the bad side Black levels aren't great, has clouding issues, light bleed etc.

For $800 bucks though, it's not a bad set if you don't mind the light bleed during letterbox movies. If you buy it, or any other TV these days, get the Square Trade warranty from Costco for $90 for an additional 3 years of coverage it's a no brainer.

Actually, the light bleed on this TV makes the FALD Hisense a better deal. I think the 810c Sony might be slightly better than the Hisense.

The Nvidia shield. And the Xbox S will be. I do watch 4k via my Roku 4 and via PC (Kodi)
