Just to make this clear, just because a tv can support HDR doesn't mean that it better than a tv without HDR support. The only thing you need to be able to play HDR content is an algorithm that can decode the metadata. But to be able to utilize HDR to get the best picture quality, you need a 10 bit panel and a high peak brightness. Without this a tv with HDR and a tv without HDR will look identical. So the argument that this is a great deal because it supports HDR is invalid because it doesn't have any of the hardware to utilize the technology.

cash back website offering 10% back will make this a little sweeter as well.
Wondering why this deal isn't getting any love? It's a wonderful price with the 10% cashback, 5% Dell Advantage and a price definitely lower than $950 after taxes.
I agree dell GC can be a vicious circle, but a big $400 GC should help with a laptop/XBox/PS4 deal down the line from Dell again!

Yeah same here. Is this a good deal? Where is the love? Seems like with HDR, this should be a pretty good deal.

Use the $400 to buy the Xbox One S and you have a 4K player/streamer as well. This deal definitely has my interest, except for the fact that I can't imagine going down to 65" when I'm currently at 73". The rear projection days are over, though, and it's tough to find anything reasonable at that size.

Go on rtings.com to see a detailed comparison however the 65 inch sony has an ips panel which means better viewing angles but worse contrast (blacks will look greish)

Bigger difference is that the Samsung supports HDR while the Sony does not.

What's your budget? Recently bought a TV so I did quite a bit of research on the models currently available.

Was looking at around this range, the Sony one was updated to $1000.00 and this one is $1400 + $400 GC, so they both seem good and in budget. Which do you think is better overall? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

What do people think of this compared to the KS8000? I was planning on waiting until I see a deal for the KS8000, maybe around 1800, but this seems like a really nice deal with the $400 gift card included. Worth holding out for the KS8000?

Do they still have the deal for the Vizio P series 50 inch. If you don't mind about size that is a much better TV. I think it was 1000 with 300 gc
