Rosewill good or just go with something like a Belkin? [newegg.com]

I'd way rather pay the extra money for the Belkin. Most all Rosewill electronics I've ever bought have been complete garbage.

Are surge protectors better or surge suppressors? Any suggestions anyone?

Belkin has a terrible warranty. You'll pay more for their warranty service than what the protector is worth. Their $200,000 equipment warranty is pretty much worth nothing if you read their terms. It's just an advertising strategy. Not sure about Rosewill though.

This is the same design as Monoprice's but in white instead of black. Works great but has annoying green light

I believe they will have a breaker instead of a fuse. The benefit of a breakers is it just needs to be reset instead of replacing a fuse.
