I set one of these up for a nonprofit recently and the year of warranty is the contract that covers the updates needed right away. After a year, sure - no easy updates.

Also, HPE's site navigation and structure is not totally intuitive for getting the right updates and information, but it has enterprise features that are geared towards enterprise IT user sets. Once over that initial learning hurdle though, it's no big deal.

Looking at the rebate form, which mentions refurbished units, I would be surprised if this wouldn't apply to the Open Box units at Newegg selling for $208, so $188 AR. I think the lowest I've seen for this unit with 4GB RAM and no HDD was $180, so not bad, even though I grabbed a new one with the hot swap cage for $214.

Nevermind, I see last week's $185 AR and PP discount code was for this same unit (8GB RAM + 500GB HDD). But maybe no hot swap cage bundle.

I tired with the PP discount code Newegg has expiring on 8/1 and it said it was used up. If you can get it to apply, it would be $189 - the best deal so far I believe (including the bonus bundle gift)

This machine is now $199.99 after $40 Mail in Rebate, Could be even lower (another $15) if the Visa Rebate is tacked on to $184.99 (before taxes after all rebates and discounts)

(newegg $15 off 200) via Visa Checkout

$40 Rebate Form

I don't need this personally, but maybe someone will use it.
