This is not a phone, the GSM network is for data connection only. This is not like other LG Pad's that support calling directly from the tablet.

***Yes, This has a Marshmallow update. May or may not be applied out of the box***

The 1GB RAM causes very noticeable slow downs while switching apps or returning to the home screen.

I got one of these from the T-Mobile kinda free deal in May. It ain't a top end tablet, but for $90 you wouldn't expect that.

It does use a FreedomPop Global SIM for 700mb (200mb + 500mb friends) free data month, or a T-Mobile free data for life SIM for 200mb a month. With either of those is makes a fine WAZE machine for the car, or checking the email and light surfing.

I could play Ticket to Ride with it fine.

With a no cost monthly data plan this is a fine tablet for light use.

The newer one from T-Mobile is the LG GPad X 8.0 ... a much better version.

Well then after scoring that much better version for free, this seems not much of a deal at $90 lol
