BINGE-ON EXPLANATION:

Plans with < 3GB/mo = compressed video (up to 480p) to save data, NO unlimited streaming from Binge-On partners.

Plans with >= 3GB/mo = compressed video (up to 480p) to save data, unlimited streaming from Binge-On partners.

Turning OFF Binge-On = uncompressed video (higher maximum quality), counts against data bucket.

I feel like this toes the lines of net neutrality, as companies who opt in can get their services broadcast without hurting consumers....but you have to opt in!

I don't need to enter a conversation about this, but I'm just floating it out there....

You need to turn "Binge On" on. Go to your t-mobile account online and you can turn it on there. Keep in mind that if you do turn it on, all your video will be at 480p, so no full hd. Its a small price to pay for unlimited streaming though, at least for me.

I don't think it toes the line at all. I think it is a blatant violation of it. Customers are now more likely to use services that T-Mobile doesn't count against them than newer, startup-like services.

It's not a light point at all. I've got numerous issues with my dish anywhere service (which I've been using on binge on for a minute before this announcement) for example, audio sporadically repeats itself.. Throttling has issues that affect smaller providers more

Shame that the bulk of T-Metros network is still 2G/ EDGE so it's tough to stream anything but great if you live in major city
