I brought one. Feature wise, this is a good deal compared to other deals that came up over the years. 500Amps should be able to jump most cars and trucks from a dead battery. The size and carrying case and display on remaining battery is nice.

My only doubt is that I have never heard of the company, so quality/durability is questionable. Then again, my Stanley jump starter stopped taking a charge after less than 3 years, and it used old-school lead-acid battery...

Seems like a lot of DOA but the seller is replacing them free of charge.

This is a good deal if the specs are true. Bought a similar unit that had a deal from "GooLoo" for $50. Was supposed to be a 500A unit but everyone that got one received a unit that had 400A. Returned to Amazon with no problem. I'll give this one a go...

Probably not. My 3 series has a 1000 CCA Exide battery and I think that generation 540i has an 800 CCA battery. BMW typically uses huge batteries and alternators - for comparison, the 2013 Shelby GT500 with a 5.4L engine pushing 662 horsepower has only a 540 CCA OEM battery.

I have one of these, exact same features and looks to be identical. mine is a halo.
jumped my car no problem. during a power outage I used as a charger for a s5 phone and it worked great until it went dead. I repeatedly hit "on" to resume charging and it fried my battery. so it was a user error.

Yes, my current battery has 850 CCA. I will pass it.
