I use them. They work pretty good for me but here is the deal, the set I use is 5 times more expensive than the one on sale here but for 12 bucks, you can't really go wrong I guess.

i personally can't feel the different between regular wired vs powerline
as long as you plug it directly to the wall outlet, it should be good

So tempting. But no reviews anywhere. Tough to say.

Buying as well. It's got to be better than wireless, right? For $13, it's worth the risk.

Thanks, for $13 I'll give them a try. I've had good luck with other brands in the past.

Bought the powerline adapters. No reviews, but yeah, at $13 it's worth a shot.

Newegg will probably get it to me tomorrow or the next day so I'll post back with the results.

If I already have an existing powerline adapter pair, with one connected to the routher can I use both of these as extenders? I couldn't find the answer anywhere.

I have Netgear Powerline adapter on my computer. It's solid speed. I think I might need something bit faster as my DL/UP topped out.

How they work, I think a lot will depend on your electrical circuit and your breakers!
I was there and in my case, the circuit breakers are a deal breaker for any powerline adapter; I would have to pay hundreds of $$ to replace my breakers and make them "powerline friendly"...
I went for MOCA and been happy since then...

Do you mean can you mix and match powerline sets? Yes, you can. however it will be synced to the slowest speed of the set -- so if this is 200mbps and your previous ones are rated at 500, all 4 will run at 200
