Is it safe? How do you protect yourself from the harmful UV radiation? Is it low energy, or what? I do not feel comfortable with the idea of using an UV device, when the exposure to UV has been linked to cancer, and other serious health problems.

Otherwise, I see some usefulness in this device.

I'm only looking at the 308 reviews in which are 77% positive (5 star), honestly for $3 if it produces light it is worth it to me.

Seems like an esoteric bit of equipment, but if you need one....

The wave link on these are not the best. Super purple. The higher priced ones have little color and when they go over something that florescent you can see the difference. Look for the ones with Nichia bulbs.

Thanks for the deal! I've been looking for a UV light to cure resins/glues and at this price point, it's certainly worth evaluating.

If he's using the flashlight while actually peeing on the carpet, yes.
