Thanks for posting this... I probably would have bought without looking at battery requirements.

Just thinking the same thing.

* Anyone that needs/wants a micro flashlight, they can get a 120-150 lumen AAA powered light that's the size and weight for ~$15-$18. It will have better construction, with a warranty from a first tier brand, and using AAAs instead of proprietary cells you'll save the cost difference sooner or later (in chargers and/or cells) and have greater availability and flexibility for use by keeping AAAs (rechargeable or disposable) on hand as well.

Unless someone already has rechargeable li-ion cells that fit this model, it's not a deal.

I have a bunch of LiFePO4 RCR123a batteries lying around so this is perfect. Wish I could buy more than 1. Thanks OP!

How did this make FP?! Unless you have a bunch of CR123 batteries and/or a charger lying around doing nothing this is near worthless.

Do you have any recommendations around the $15-$18 price? thanks

If anyone is actually looking for a keychain light for normal/daily use I'd recommend getting one of the "Nitecore Tube" flashlights. I have a few of those and they're pretty durable, and charge via micro USB instead of having to pay for lithium batteries. Have been around $6 a few times at various Chinese gadget sites.
