This is not the best configuration ever built. It's not for me (HD rather than FHD is a deal-breaker). But if you need a portable machine with computing power (not graphics power) at a low price, this may be interesting to you.
For another $100 or so you could fit it with a 250GB SSD. Note, Toshiba advertises its machines as non-user serviceable, but Youtube videos show that it is still possible to open and modify them. But this isn't for everyone. $425+tax + $100 gets you something with a lot of processing power -- but NOT for gaming.
These machines are only available at certain Microcenter stores. Denver and Houston are two such. YMMV.
