They are offering $25 of groceries if you do the free trial. Received an email a while back with promo code 25FRESHOFFER (exp 9/30/16) but you may not need a code to get the $25.

Thank you for sharing.

If I have not yet used Prime Fresh, should I hold off for a better "new customer" type of deal?

Thank you,
Tofu Vic

Is prime fresh free for prime members? Or is it some separate membership?

I know they have a free trial and you can cancel anytime. Also being a prime member, you can get fresh at a subscription discount nod

Edit: Sorry Frown looks like the $25 off on first order is regional and possibly account based. Here's the terms and conditions of email:

We're now delivering fresh groceries in your neighborhood! Order tonight and wake up to milk, eggs, and fresh fruit on your doorstep.
Get started with your free 30-day trial, and save $25 on your first order. Use promo code 25FRESHOFFER at checkout. Offer ends September 30, 2016.

Later in the terms and condition (which I didn't click on and read earlier)

"This offer is restricted to invited customers within the Northern California and Southern California marketplaces." Also says not good on alcohol, gift cards etc...but does not exclude milk, which is usually excluded.

Edit:

I have been seriously considering fresh for a few months but on the fence whether the $200 extra (subtracting annual prime expense) is worth it. For a while I was using Safeway online and had only good experiences, but felt I was buying more than I needed to get free shipping.

If you don't hen you aren't doing it dirty enough. Might bite on this... $299 though to not go to the grocery store and save money (as the store prices are better usually) is a conundrum.
