Just get it. Purchased nearly 8 months ago, rebooted 2x so far. Was $109 at the time, so this is a great deal. Costco had very similar model for similar price, in black. Very easy to use, setup in browser. It works well, no complaints. bounce

Indeed. This one replaced my old Netgear N300. No restarts since then and twice the range.

What if I'm replacing a TP-LINK WDR4300 which is N750 is it worth the $100 for an upgrade at this point or should I wait for a better deal?

No tomato or ddwrt firmware available for this model, based on my brief search..

I've had this for almost a year now. my original router/ap was one of those crappy modem combos from at&t and it would always reboot on its own at night under high load. switched everything over to the tplink and rebooting stopped. only use the at&t as a modem now.

I have had this router for roughly a year. Range is great, GUI is user friendly, good amount of features. However I had an issue with it once.

It by default is set to use the best channel for wifi, which in most cases is perfectly fine. But if you live in a environment with a huge amount of different Wi-fi's, it will select a new channel because the "best" channel frequently changes. Changing channels reboots the router losing your connection to the Internet.

Very simple fix is to select a wifi channel and never had an issue since. It is in the advanced mode in the GUI under the wifi section.

I have NetGear AC1450 mod to R6300v2. Should I replace this with TP-Link? Thanks.

Good Router, my only downside is 16 port forwards is the max. These are set up on the router as Virtual Servers.
