I personally think the Kangaroo PC is a better deal.

Has a battery so you don't need to drag around a AC adapter if you aren't using it for long periods.

does the stick computer's own display properties allow overscan adjustment?

the Samsung HDTV that I want to plug it into does NOT allow overscan adjustment at all.

thanks!

According to reviews on Amazon, yes you can stream from Xbox.

Do you own a Kangaroo? I have read that it will throttle its speed in half when it gets hot, then it runs too slow to do anything. That was the only thing holding me back on that micro pc.

I wonder if this one runs hot...

Windows 8/10 has a few adjustments that helps. When I connected a laptop to the vga of a 40 inch lcd, I had to change something in the graphics settings that fixed the ratio to fit the screen. Sorry but I don't recall exactly what it was, but it did fix the scan problem...

No, I haven't purchased one. I have the old intel compute stick with Ubuntu, and it's terrible. I'll probably flip it on ebay soon and replace it with one of these newer gen sticks, but haven't decided which one yet.

I am thinking these tiny things do need a quiet fan. 2 more gigs of ram would be nice. I ended picking up a roku stick 2016 version for $40 but I still am keeping an eye on something like this to replace my laptop that runs to my LCD tv.
