I wish they'd just sell the Moto X Pure for $200 by itself and get it over with. We all know that's where it's headed, and I know I'm not the only one waiting for that price point.

I think MXE is still a great phone. I broke mine and bought a Nexus 6P.
I have huge buyers remorse but I know the Nexus will have regular updates (which Lenovo has said they will not do), so I'm trying to live with it.

I like the fingerprint scanner, better screen etc in 6p but I miss Moto assist, Moto camera, Active notifications and double twist for camera (I upgraded from Moto X gen 1 to this, so I really used this features).

Anyone know their replacements?

I just bought a Nexus 6p and am returning an un open Moto X Pure purchased on last weeks slickdeal.

Been struggling to justify the $400 VS $250. I think the Nexus 6P is a better overall phone, right?!?!?!

HUM just got the 32gb with SD card and selfie stick for $249. Maybe I need to cancel and go with this. Then again I never wear a watch now and 64gb is way more then I'll ever need.

I'm in a similar boat -- I'm still using a Moto X gen 1 and I love the phone. The combination of close-to-stock Android + those few handy Motorola-specific features have pretty much locked me into upgrading to either Moto X Pure or Moto G4.

Damn you, Motorola, for making nice phones.

go for Moto X PE.
much better phone, I wish it had AMOLED screen, but it's the features that one uses that made the phone more usable to me, till my son threw my phone when he couldn't catch a Pok?mon..

its already $250 .. should drop to $200 when the next Moto X comes out. I think it's a better upgrade for $50 more compared to Moto G ($150 at Amaz0n)
Yep, that's kind of where my head's at. I'd definitely prefer the Moto X Pure, but can't justify the $100 premium it currently has over the Moto G4.

Once it hits $200, though, I'll buy immediately.

G4 is good for everything but gaming.

Thanks. In the middle of a longer reply.
I'm a frugal shopper, so I made my decision based on need and eye on the future, so I'm good. I know the extra $150 will be worth it, if this phone lasts me 2 yrs and this time I ordered a screen protector before I bough the phone.

But Moto X PE is good for everything. Period.
But still I think once it hits $200, it should be the best phone to pick up.
Even right now, if someone was really in the market for a new phone should pick this for a $100 more than G4 cause the internals really do justify the price.

I think it depend on what your definition of "good" is.
For most review sites, they said
Galaxy S7/S7 Edge > Nexus 6P > Moto X PE
So really depend on how much you willing to pay for the phone and what features you really need and willing to give up.

Same here. I've got one that I replaced the screen on an it is really acting up. $200 for a 32GB would convince me.
