a cheaper alternative if you have medical coverage find a chiro with a newer model intersegmental massage table. most chiros wave co-pay. better than any massage chair.

BEWARE: amazon reviews state nearly impossible to contact manufacturer for repair or replacement parts.

ALSO: the seller on newegg has 1-egg for the 1st 8 reviews.

looks to be one of those made-in-china-export-to-US-for-dirt-cheap-prices-but-offer-0-customer-service-in-return.

Amazon reviews: doesn't fit over 6', some people have had real trouble with warranty service. At 6'2", I'm out and I really want a massage chair.

I found that some of these with the leg fully extended it's not enough for average height men. I'm 5'10" and i couldn't extend the my leg fully with the leg horizontal. From the picture it looks like this is the case too. I really want to get one too. Does anyone know if this one fully extended can accommodate average height men.

There are hundreds of different models from different factories in China on this kind of chair, and the price range could he varie from 150-2000, it will be better for you to find a store to try it out first before buying this kind of stuff.

but even that, your risk of getting something different is still pretty high.

Been contemplating a massage chair for a while now but a few reviews on Amazon scared me... even if I purchased an extended warranty, more concerned with having to deal with the inconvenience. Hmm.... what to do, what to do Wink

can't compare higher price chair to shiatsu, it's in a different level... I bought this chair and end up giving it to my mom.. I expected more, but it's a decent chair... But I wanted more, therefore I gave it to my mom and bought another one after trying it at brookstone last year that cost a lot more

thanks for your insight. I bought a zero gravity chair for quite a bit more than this one. I just want to make sure this chair for much cheaper did not perform like the one I have.

Thanks again. Now I can sleep tonight.

I have it. it's nice albeit noisy. don't let the kids jump on the foot rest -- it's tempting, but it breaks easily, and getting the parts will be a pain.

I'm 5'10", it fits me, although I should note I'm also 130lbs

I got mine about a year ago off ebay for around the same price and it's still going strong. The only problem so far is the airbag that squeezes the left arm doesn't deflate all the way when not in use, but it doesn't seem to affect performance or anything.

Other than that it's great - lots of settings and positions - the intensity is strong even on medium and the heat option works really well. I'm 5'8" and the massage nubs hit pretty much everything they're supposed to except the neck, but you can always just slide up and down the chair if you're not getting good contact.

In case you're wondering, it comes in a huge box because it's mostly assembled and there's quite a few youtube videos explaining how to put the rest of it together. Me and some friends had it set up in under 5 minutes.

Bought the chair a month ago and love it. For the price, it is a decent massage chair. Keep in mind that they ship via freight and just leave it at the front door. They also charge for return shipping which is $150 one way. It was a pain to get it in the house and the instruction booklet that came with the chair is missing the part that ask you to connect the backrest cable to the chair. Following the setup instruction on youtube help resolve that.

The chair is not comparable to the more expensive chair which is better. What I dislike about the chair is that at maximum strength, the tapping effect is still relatively weak even when compare with an older massage chair bought over 10 years ago (although that one costed $3000 at the time).

No comment on warranty or repair, but I would be find if it last at least 3 years before it breaks.
