Bought this at the same price a couple months ago, now it's permanently attached to our camera. Far better than the Nikon 18-55, but I'm guessing twice the size and weight.

I just got a 70D with the 18-135 lens and also got a nifty fifty. Would it make any sense to get this Sigma lens as well?

Definitely, the 2.8 aperture make this much more usable and flexible than either of the other lenses when indoors.

So tempted to buy this and toss the Canon 18-55 kit lens in the trash

Bought this last time it was this price. Love it. Great upgrade from a kit lens.

Wish it's available for Sony E-mount. I still have my D90 but it's too bulky now. Plus I already have the Sigma 24-60EX 2.8, which is very similar to this lens.

Looking for a good deal on an e-mount lens. Just bought the Sigma 30mm 2.8 DN for $170. Eyeing the 19mm too but it's not on sale. Plus, I'd rather get a Sony lens so I can use all the contrast detection points.
