Anyone have any opinions on this vs the Samsung KS8000? I had pretty much thought I was going the Samsung but this price is pretty hard to beat..

Thanks!

I got the KS8000 and it is PHENOMENAL. Although I paid $1400 OTD through a friend's discount. If I had to pay around $2200 vs this.... then I would probably go with the LG. I would go see them both in person at a local store then make your decision.

damn, 1400 is crazy, I know the ks8000 has been as low as 1800 at some point and I am not in a rush, may head down to best buy and take a look.

At $1800 I would go with the Samsung unless you prefer the magic remote of the LG. So far I have been pleased.

I was a week too late or I could have gotten the LG 65" OLED (~$4000) for $1100 =\ Still the Samsung is great. If you can avoid taxes on one deal vs another that may save you another $50-$100

guys the only place that has good user reviews is on a forum, go to Google and search for LG uh9500 forum, I think it will bring up a thread on avsforum.com and they have user ratings there, but they are not very good....

I think ks8000 based on user reviews is a better choice

I just wish the KS wasn't so expensive. Thinking about a 65" but I'm just not sure I should spend that much on a TV. Have to sell my non hdr 4k tv first at a a big loss.

not a huge discount but the UN65KS8000 is down to 1999 on amazon and best buy.

I looked at the 8500 vs the ks800 last night (my best buy isn't magnolia so they didn't have 9500) I felt like the Samsung was crisper and popped a little more. seems to be the concensus out there so going to wait to see if the 8000 drops a little more inf the next couple of months.
