Well, if you can snipe a GTX 1060 for around this same price, it would be a better option. But this is a good deal nonetheless.

It's not (w/GPU) it IS the GPU. Title should read "Gigabyte R9 390 512-bit GDDR5 Gaming" without parenthesis. The model number GV-R939G1 is irrelevant in the title.

With that said, yea $10 more gets you a new shiny 480 or 1060. This card is similar to the 970 which is already being phased out. If you don't want to wait, sure grab this, but if you have a card and looking for an upgrade patience is a virtue.

This is a good deal if you don't care about power/heat at all and need a card right now. If you do care, wait a few weeks and get an rx 480 or a 1060.

The price and performance is right on par, but these use a ton of power and run HOT.

Well, excuuuuuuse me Frown Told you I wasn't a graphics guy. And, no, the number is NOT irrelevant (maybe to you). The actual model number as provided by Gigabyte: GV-R939G1 GAMING-8GD.

Told you, I'm just the messenger. Saw something I thought might be of interest to someone here and thought I'd put it out there. If you don't like it, don't buy. But don't take you rage out on me. Go beat up your dog or wife if you have anger issues.

Wipe those tears away and man up soldier! I was informing you for next time you post a GPU thread. It's confusing to see "w/GPU" because that's like saying you found a Gigabyte GV-R939G1 that COMES WITH a GPU. The problem, as you can see, is that you're saying you found a GPU on sale that comes with a GPU... do you maggots understand! jk Wink

The only reason I say model number is irrelevant because gamers don't hunt MSI RX-5334V2 they look for MSI 8gb RX 480 Vroom Vroom Edition. I have never, Ever, Ever seen someone say "looking to upgrade my GPU within my budget and think the GV-R939G1 GAMING-8GD looks good. Agreed?" Simply saying Gigabyte R9 390 Gaming tells gamers 99.99% of what they need to know. Well, besides price that is. One day you'll get there my son. Now come give ole sarge a hug~~ hug
