I'm thinking of getting one of those newer credit card machines that can accept digital wallet payments. Should I go for it or not? Are those type of payments really popular now?

It depends on your customer base tbh. I work for a credit card processor so if you like the idea of contactless card reader go for it. Not sure which processor your with but the company I work for charges sooooo much $$$ if you buy directly from us. Just make sure it is unlocked from any processor and follow your processor DL instructions and you good to go!!

A couple of questions I would ask myself before making the decision.

Is the only added benefit the digital wallet payments?
What is the cost?
Customer Base? Do you ever hear customers asking about the option for digital payment?

Even if digital wallet payments are popular I would assume those individuals still have credit cards. It is different than companies who do not accept credit cards, I try and avoid those places because it is a major inconvenience.

I do not think it is essential to have that option so you could probably wait to make that purchase. Do you believe that the price of the equipment will decrease over the next year or two? Maybe the quality or options offered will increase in that same time.
