Thread Details

Not sure if this is a local deal, but one of my local Ikea stores (did not check the second local store) had a shelf with AAA battery packs on clearance for $0.50 cents each. This are 4-packs. They are the cheaper made-in-China versions, 750mAh (Ikea does have some nicer made in Japan cells), but 4 pre-charged AAA batteries for this price is a no-brainer.

For reference, this is the actual product: http://www.ikea.com/sg/en/catalog.../30240584/

The store I purchased from was the Schaumburg, IL store. Not sure if this pricing is available in other stores so YMMV.

I would buy at lease a case if I was you. 4-pack AAA pre-charged NiMH for $0.50 No-brainer.
You can't even get 2 AAA no name rechargable batteries on ebay for $0.50.
