BestBuy has the Elite controller on sale for $134.99.

SAVE $15 (Reg. $149.99)
on orders $35 and up

Open-Box from

I bought one of the open box ones for $119.99 last night, then I saw this lol. I emailed them to price match this morning.

Definitely recommend getting the two year service plan, and if you're doing that you might as well get open box seeing if it breaks down they replace it with a new one.

The two year service plan is $19.99.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

Why would their warehouse have open box ones? We're they in a store on display or something?

Returned item that is still sellable, damaged box, etc. Just a normal open box item.

Edit: Price and store in title would help get more attention

Open box basically means returned.

I agree on the service plan from BB. The elite controller is fantastic, but it has the same crappy innards as the normal controllers. I've now gone through two standard controllers and one elite but I'm a fairly heavy user. Getting my credit card company to extend the warranty worked for me as my controller failed well after the 90 day manufacturer's warranty but it was a big hassle and took 2-3 hours worth of support chats.

Long story short. Buy controllers from BB and get the two year protection.

The elite controller comes with small plastic tabs for the rb/lb buttons and it tends to break. M$ only covers the controller for 90 days and don't offer repair past that. So they sometimes sneak back into bestbuy and they don't notice the button is broken without testing it on a xbone.
