It looked like a good buy for me... 200$ for i5 +128GB SSD looks preety cheap on a Dell laptop So I used my code.
would like to hear if someone thinks it's a bad buy, obviously I can still cancel it.

First Gen Core "i" series....I wouldn't buy for $200. Plus this thing weighs in at around 4.5-5 lbs. Better off waiting for the Dell Refurb 50% off deals that show up every other week. At least those are 3rd Gen Core "i" series.

despite fry's listing, this laptop appears to have ddr3 ram, which is less expensive if you want to upgrade to 8gb. the only downsides are the processor is 6 years old and the warranty is only 90 days.

that's incorrect, check crucial.com or any other product page and you'll see it's ddr3

LOL yea I know it's old... but still 200$...
Are those 50% deals not getting over MSRP initial price?

it's like a back up for my back up laptop Smilie

Dell outlet has better prices. The Latitude 3150 I just bought has almost identical performance, is lighter, and is essentially new for $133 with shipping and tax.

The N3540 processor is nearly identical to the i5-520m and has 4 cores instead of 2. The SSD is probably also much faster given that it is a newer system, not a 4 year old refurb.

Fry's has the 14.1" Dell Latitude Refurb for $199. YMMV if you have Fry's near you and if it is available (it is not available for shipping and not available at either Fry's near me)

I think you meant $399. Unless there is a coupon
Considering this is a ~ 5 year old Latitude with a 1st generation i5, even $199 is starting to push it. $399 is insane.

Almost as insane as the list prices for Invicta watches made in China.
