Kiki's Delivery service might be the next lightest of the bunch. Not too many creepy bits either from what I remember. It's a great movie that I think she'll enjoy.

Edit: Ponyo is definitely more kid friendly, but Kiki's Delivery Service is the better movie (not that they directly compare).

Got many of these from goHastings. They had these at $13.45 and I used the Buy 2 Get 1 for $1 to get these. Came out $10.61 after $1.29 shipping each. Without digital copy I'd buy them used.

Yeah, too bad that goHastings is no more.

Strange that they didn't include Spirited Away in the sale.

Spirited Away is the newest one available on Bluray, which is probably why it isn't included. Disney knows how popular it is so they took their sweet time with the bluray release.

Miyazaki's movies are awesome and this is such a great deal! I think people should watch his movies at least once. Smilie

I backordered Princess Mononoke, but then decided to cancel the order when I looked at the reviews. It appears the Disney release of it has "dub-titles" instead of the original Japanese -> English translations from the theater. Some of the idioms and phrasing does not carry over well. I decided to pass on this Frown

My three year old son loves those 3, but he also really likes Castle in the Sky. It's a bit heavier, if you will, but not too much for him (and he doesn't like anything remotely scary). It has a bit more action and adventure if she enjoys that.

Totoro is great for little kids. Not much to go over their heads.
