Only $7.50 off. I would rather stick with the 850 EVO anyway.

why do you not like miceocenter? bad service or products failing? I haven't used them much but haven't had any problems yet.

It's like living in the ghetto.

It's all nice and cheap but once you get burned it stings you forever. If you don't ever get stung then it's like the best thing ever.

Point is, everyone can have different experiences.

I've always had a good experience with them. If they made a mistake in the past with something, they always made it right. Having a local B&M that price matches Newegg is a nice thing to have. Been going there for 25 years.

yes in paterson nj it is. I have to wait forever to get something that's locked behind glass doors. no pricematching policy. this mc doesn't pricematch or will reduce price slightly, not even worth buying. returning a cheap item like a keyboard, mouse, psu is a long interrogation process. if something is defective they have to test it first. i imagine if something works but i say it doesn't i'll be charged a restocking fee or simply won't be allowed to return. one time i made a mistake and bought an INLAND brand mini bluetooth keyboard ~$25. crap didn't work. thought standard 30 return policy applies. took it back. didn't notice 15 day return for this item printed on receipt. never again!!!

I've had good experiences there. I love having an MC close by. So nice to be able to buy parts locally and return them if there's an issue. Last time I was there the manager came up and introduced himself, gave me his card and said if I have any issues or concerns to contact him.

That said, many of the employees like to be hard to find. Finding someone with a key to the locked cabinet can be difficult at times and their shelf and product prices are often wrong. Still I'd much rather deal with those few things than give up having a store close by. If we could get a Fry's that would be awesome.

I've built 2 PCs now with the the help of both newegg and microcenter so far. they can't be beat in terms of their CPU/motherboard combos. I live an hour away from my local MC but I always make the trip if I'm in the area. their employees are more knowledgeable than any Fry's or best buy employee I've met by far... this is all just personal experience though

Sounds like you need an American Express card. They'll take returns when the merchant won't.

lol amex ended with costco switching to visa. one time wanted to get a refund for something moldy costco sold me. something cheap. amex refused. i never used amex outside of costco. mastercard/visa for everything else. i'd rather not shop at microcenter than deal with returns/refunds.

The one complaint I have about the Tustin,CA Microcenter is they claim 0 stock for some of the really good deals in the ad to prevent instore pickup (even when there are a ton in stock). In the store the prices are higher or it's not on sale at all. Stores are not required to honor the ad unfortunately.
