BETTER LINK [newegg.com] - OP's link takes you to the right item but wrong seller. OP fixed it.

I used one of these to rebuild a Lenovo desktop with a dead motherboard. It's very lightweight, not exactly the sturdiest case, but for the price it's not bad at all. Everything fit pretty well and the edges were at least not so sharp that I was in mortal danger assembling things.

I ordered a Rosewill case before. It was completely out of square by the time it was delivered, with very little damage visible to the box. If you need a cheap case, go for it. If you want a nice case, spend a few more bucks.

I felt the same, but it was cheaper to add a 3.5" panel with USB 3.0 ports to this case, than it was to buy a nicer case with integrated USB 3.0 ports.

Is a patent the reason why this doesn't have USB 3.0? Or does the actual part cost that much more?

I can't imagine it costs more than a quarter more for USB 3.0 than USB 2.0 for the parts.

Keep your eye on this one [newegg.com] , goes on sale for $25AR from time to time. $10 more, but you get 2 USB 3 ports. Alternatively, you could install this [amazon.com] in the 3.5" drive bay.

Be careful. You must select product sold and shipped by Newegg in order to qualify for the rebate. You should see rebate information on the product page. This is the correct Link [newegg.com]

OP you might want to change your link.

Bytecc USB 3.0 Front Hub Bracket for Dual 2.5" HDD/SSD to 3.5" tray https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00I609...Nxb0R97WG3

I used one of these in a case to add front USB 3.0 ports to an unused 3.5" external bay (which this case has) and to hold my SSD and an additional laptop HDD... Works pretty well.

There are more and better reviews on newegg. unfortunately it is currently out of stock and my newegg app won't let me share the link... Just do a search for the model BYTECC U3-225

Link in OP takes me to correct item but wrong seller. Had to click Newegg down the page where it lists other sellers. OP fixed it. Thumbs up though.
