$1.50

Thread Details

Today i was at walmart conservatively buying regularly priced totes at $0.94/ea when i stumbled on the display with the 5 packs for 4.38 in white, magenta and cyan tops. I picked up three white tops and 1 magenta.

Went through the self checkout and scanned one of the white ones. It came up as $1.50. Only the white tops not the magenta

yes...I was only going to buy $30 worth of storage stuff (four of these, and some bigger storage bins). This is the second receipt where i went and liberally bought 10 packs.

I wouldn't have and couldn't have bought as much if they weren't $1.50. I knew full well that buying the boxes at $0.94/ea was buying a regular price. Finding the 5 pack at $4.38 ($0.876/ea) made it a little better...but not the $0.83 I knew i could find if I waited. #buyNowThinkLater

I think I bought those too. They were in two packs for $4.38 vs $2.97/each

I might be wrong. They could be 12qt. I believe the nestled into the taller 18qt ones I bought.

Thanks...I'll drop by today. I have a couple dozen of the 12gal flip top totes from HD and like those except for smaller items. The clear bin allows me to see many of the items inside without pulling the bin off the shelf and opening it. The tote I'm looking for is roughly 1/2 the height of the flip top and is stackable.

I'm going to get this garage squared away if it KILLS me!!!Wink

All colors of 5-pack 6-quarts ran up as $4.38 for me, which is still a better deal than Home Depot or Lowe's (0.60 cents less if you need a pack of 5). However, even with the same UPC and SKU as OP, none of them were as cheap as $1.50. It really is YMMV.
