Anyone able to get any CB site to work? Every one I've tried brings me to a "blocked" page with the text

Does this include online access I looked over description and doesn't specify if it does or not? If not then I won't bother.

Unfortunately, the print subscription does not include online access. It does, however, allow you to get the digital prints.

edit// Digital prints for only iPad users per nowlen's correction. Smilie

You can get it for free from many libraries. There was a thread here about it several years ago.

I took a look at BeFrugaI and it ends up being the same price with cashback considered ($18.99 - 17% CB = $15.76). I guess Best Deal Magazines is well aware of shoppers using cashback sites, haha. Smilie

Only on Apple devices. I know because I a not a fanboy and can't get the digital versions. I pay an extra ~$12/yr for that.

Also, I am a LONG-time subscriber and my current subscription goes until 2022. Over the last couple of years Consumer Reports has changed management and with it, their format and focus have gone downhill. At one time they were very good at comparisons and recommendations. Now they have become 'socially political' and are not product evaluation focused. They should rename the magazine to Treehugger Reports. If that's what you are looking for, then go ahead and place your order. I want unbiased product reviews and evaluations, not a lecture and political viewpoints... I have tried to cancel my subscription but cannot get a refund. I will not be renewing my subscription in 2023!

You will need the $12 annual on-line access if you want real product comparisons, which is what you bought the magazine for in the first place!

Good point. The digital prints are free for iPad users only. Thanks for the correction. worship

I do agree that Consumer Reports is very "socially political" but I can't blame them for tackling issues that are current and evident in today's "socially political" world. It's what piques their readers' interests. The World Wide Web has empowered us with a plethora of information and technology has allowed us to be constantly exposed to the social and political aspects of the world. While I don't agree with everything Consumer Reports states, they still carry some influence within the general public.

I still find the products reviews and evaluations as unbiased but lacking in detail and variety. I can't blame them, however, since they've reviewed thousands of items from hundreds of categories over the course of many years.

No and I see that as a huge and long running screwup. Its why I discontinued my sub about 5 years ago.

They always review the cars and appliances that are priced way higher than what I want to spend. However, their averaged brand reliability is useful to most people.
