Good card for incredible price. If all you do is 1080p gaming

PassMark has it close to the top at 135$

I'd wait for the RX 460 which is MSRP 100$ releasing in August 8th. But who knows that card might get sold out and prices will rise.

I see $99.99 after $30 rebate card. I have this card in my budget gaming rig and I'm very happy with it. Plays most games at 1080p with medium to high settings. If it wasn't for the $30 rebate I'd probably buy another. Been waiting 3 months on a rebate for a different MSI video card...

i think if you play a lot, 10 series cards can save more on electricity even it isn't on sale. GTX 1050 coming soon.

Hopefully I will be able to score a RX 470 that sips only ~120W and performance wise should be close to a GTX 970 for under $200...

With the 10x0 cards out now and new AMDs on the horizon shouldn't the 960s be hitting this price after rebate soon? I snagged a 950 for $100 with no rebate 4 months+ ago for a friend's build

the question is if it fits and do you have a 6pin power connector for it?

power isn't a problem but you'll have a much better time with a 1060

950 will struggle at 1080p even on moderate settings with newer games

Only if you live in an area that charges like 1$ per kwh.
