If you are a Costco member they have a great price on a Gigabit Ethernet powerline kit.

http://www.costco.com/TP-LINK-AV1...24291.html

It has 3 ports built into it so that eliminates the need for a switch in many cases.

Expires 8/21/2016
Free shipping.

Hope this helps some SDers! bounce I'm going to use it for my XBox One, so sick of the wireless lag.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

No where near as good as cat5. Typically these are used to rooms where you can't wire easily. If you have good wiring in your house, these can reach good speeds but it's easy to get a lot of interference too

It's $66 on amazon...
I didn't see that, but that one is only the 1 port version. FYI - also Costco has a lifetime return policy so if you have issues with it 5 years from now they will let you return or exchange it for something else.

I have this exact model. Set a deal alert for this and just got notified. Great power line adapters. A big upgrade over the 500 units I had in my house.

I wonder if ground is needed for these to reach 1200.

Costco has a 90 return policy on electronics, which I would think this would be under. Just FYI.

I didn't know these exist. So does this make in-home ethernet wiring obsolete? If you have one in every room, it's just as good as wiring your house with Cat5e?

Staples Link (Chat To Pricematch) [staples.com]

For non-Costco member, or people that want to earn cashback and staple rewards. (Took about 5 minutes in chat.)
