There's a $60/off appliance coupon in my coupon center as well. Not sure if that's for everyone.

Well... There is Labor Day sales coming up soon, so if you can, I would wait for that. Also, don't rush on a purchase that you are going to be using for 5+ years. There is a 27cu ft LG French 4 door at Home Depot. The last time I saw it, it was at around 1750. I personally have it and it works really well and has a lot of interior space plus, it has an interior air filter that removes smells, etc.

Hopefully this was helpful in some way. Good luck and congrats on the move (if you are moving haha).

What model do you own, our 15 yr. old, 22 cu. ft. GE is on the fritz and upsizing to a 27 cu. ft. would be nice. I don't care about brand (or high end features for that matter) as I do about long term reliability.

I just purchased this fridge last week at this price. DO EXTENSIVE RESEARCH!! worse than mattress shopping.. certain websites get paid to list certain products as the best. remember LG makes phones! LG came up as having most major issues on a fridge.. my LG died right when the warranty ran out.. I don't have time to write a hate novel right now.

I bought this fridge for around $1600 about 2-3 years ago, mainly because the SO was concerned about aesthetics over functionality.

Although they look nice, french door fridges are not efficient since the freezer is on the bottom and a fan has to blow the cold air up through the back to cool the main compartment of the fridge. And as we all know, cold air doesn't rise.... Top freezers or side by sides generally are better in this sense.

But besides that, the only issue I've had with it is that the defroster either doesn't work perfectly or the thermometer is a bit faulty. It's happened twice where massive amounts of ice built up on the condenser coils in the freezer and I had to manually use a steamer to defrost the unit. Maybe about 1-1.5 hours to fix.

Decent price on this but do your research before you bite.

This is the exact model. I also can't comment on reliability as I got recently, but LG offers a 10year compressor warranty. The compressor is responsible for cold air coming out the fridge, so there's that...

I sell appliances. This is a good deal on a good refrigerator that is still made in the USA. I was selling it for $1,399 around the 4th of July. Very good refrigerator at a good price if you need one now.

How'd you get a mover's coupon? I have been trying to find one of those for weeks.
