If you have a Microcenter nearby, this is basically the everyday price for this combo.

Probably partially because the title sucks and people would rather See "Intel Core i7 6700K" so it triggers their alerts instead of whatever full ridiculous model number that is posted in the title (ie. not some jumbled: BX80662I76700K)
20% restocking fee.... Kinda scary. From people who know better than I do, how is the motherboard?

I feel like this is a solid deal but it isn't getting much love. Any reason why?

In general I've always liked gigabyte, good price for the features/quality, but not necessarily top of the line...dunno about this specific mobo though

Hmm, no tax and $40 ebay bucks. Is this a significant upgrade over a i7 4790k? Thanks

You should see a slight increase in performance if your 4790k isn't overclocked. I've heard that unless you go liquid cooling on the 6700k it's not the best to overclocking chip. That being said you get the benefits of an 1151 socket motherboard (ddr4) chipset

Some of us don't have a Microcenter around :'(

Looking at building a PC.

Really thinking about this deal. Any drawbacks to this mobo?

Motherboard is the question here... Seems like an average MB but good price regardless.

What motherboard would be good with this processor?... Worth buying package and selling MB?

Hmm, I've got one, why not. It's $360 after ebay bux, so mobo is only $15. I'll take it :-)
