Why do I need two pack? The light is on for maybe 5 minutes per day. The minimum bulb life is 10,000 hours.
1 bulb will last me three lifetimes!

Of course the energy savings will be in the 10s of cents.

Mine has two bulbs. However, don't see any need to replace them till one or both go out.

As per the description, it takes only 3.5W compared to 40W of regular bulbs. So the savings could pay for itself in a short time. And hopefully it won't burn out like incandescent ones.

I have 2 in my mwave... they work great on high, but flicker a lot on low.

My mwave has a timer built-in for the lights. I can set the time they come on and off on a daily basis. I do have them on like 10-12 hours a day, the savings in watts is a decent one.

only if u leave it on all the time. if it's only on when u use the microwave then it will be a million years before $13 gets paid off.

It is not for inside microwave, but outside the over-the-range microwaves. These are for giving lights to the range top. Don't put it inside microwave Smilie
