Yet it is still a slick deal for those looking for a good multifunction laser right now. I paid more for this printer 6 months ago because I couldn't find a deal after looking for a couple of weeks. I don't regret it. It's a good printer at $200, so $130 is a great deal.

I recently got a Sandisk Ultra II 960GB SSD for $143 shipped... should I thumbs down every 1TB-class SSD that doesn't sell for less from here on out?

As far as I'm concerned, I'm not TDing any deal that at least offers a 10% discount from the lowest price you might normally get it for, and this is over 30% off the lowest "normal" price you can find it for.

For someone who has an immediate need, it might be a deal indeed, but offering historical prices allows people to determine if they can wait for the cheaper price to come back around.

This specific printer has been priced at $120 multiple times in the last month or so, so unless someone needs one right now, it is best to wait for a slightly better deal.

No, you should not thumbs down if the price is fairly close to that $143 you paid, but you should mention that you purchased it at a cheaper price. If people can wait for a better price, retailers will be more pressed to lower prices until people start buying.

Also, if you use a certain Cabin for Coupons site, you can get 18% back on this purchase. So that brings the total down to an all-time low.

Thanks!
