This is a bright light with 36 LEDs and a pole to keep it off the wall or gutters. This also is very large compared to the typical solar lights you see.

The 450 lumens is equal to a 40 watt bulb

these freebie reviews on Amazon are out of control. cheap offbrand electronics straight from China all "reviewed" soon after receiving and biased towards 5 stars to keep the free stuff parade rolling.

look at the reviewer photos. they barely have them out of the box. most are on the living room carpet. as if your experience of testing it for 2 minutes indoors is something I should give two spits about...

What makes this a slick deal? Why would anyone ever pay this much, or more for this light? Only reviews are paid ones.

Yeah I have a bunch of those that were bought at around $9-$10 range. These ones are really large compared to those in size, luminosity and battery capacity.

Reviews are shady I agree. Btw I'm not associated with these guys Smilie I just bought 3 of these and thought I'd share.

Where did you get the $9-$10 ones & are they worth it? Also is light output bright or mediocre? Its really dark on the side of my home where I keep my trash cans & I want to add a light source. Undecided if I should hardwire a light or use one of the solar ones. Thanks for any info.

I bought a few of these oxyled ones on then considered slickdeal more than a year ago for $8-$9. These are still going strong. Light output is 100 lumens

https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00QGQ0C14

I just installed the Innogear ones yesterday and can't speak of logevity but the light output is significantly more. 450 lumens to be exact and as I said earlier these are very very large in size. These also come with 2 11inch metal rods to extend them off the wall in case you have gutters or lack of sunlight close to the walls.

Thanks OP. Took a chance on these and bought two. 2nd night with them installed and happy with them so far. Agree with all the paid reviews on Amazon hence I searched SD first.

i bought one to try out. I have it outside where I store the trash bins and this works great at night when i have to step out to take out the trash; automatically turns on and the light is bright. i found the instructions a bit lacking, and it took me like 5 minutes to figure out how to set up the different modes, but not bad after you figure it out.
