I have two of these. I lost one then found it. I find I use them both anyway for different computers. For a travel mouse, this is hands-down the best one that exists. At $20 it is an absolute no-brainer. Plus it uses the Unifying Receiver. If you do not have a travel mouse, you want this. Period. End. Finito. Mic Drop.

Loots of reviews on Amazon about a phantom double click developing after a few months. There is one recent review [amazon.com] that says you can fix the issue with a little bit of tape though... Maybe worth a shot then?

Saw two, maaaaaybe three cases of these at the Sams Club on Midway and 635 in Dallas last Friday for what it's worth. Tucked in with all the other wireless keyboards and mice, but couldn't say if they're still in stock.

I've had 5 of these, none have had that problem.

Reason for 5 is that 2 stopped working when they hit the concrete floor one too many times.

Fantastic price for a great mouse. I have two that I've used for many years now. IME, it doesn't quite live up to its promise to track on glass surfaces, but it excels in pretty much every other way.

I have had three of these. The first one developed double click problem after 3 years. The second had minor scrolling issues(it was second generation), the third one was provided as a warranty replacement.

They drain battery fast(about 4 months), I have been using rechargeables without much issues.

By far one of the best mouse, and the first and second generation(this one) come with a 3 year warranty, the latest model of Anywhere comes with only one year warranty. I just bought one more through this deal.

Bought mine at this price 3 years ago. I travel with it everywhere and have only changed the battery once. I absolutely love this mouse!

The three year warranty helps a lot. With my average use I wear out the left click in under a year. Never had a problem getting a replacement, but phone support does insist on taking you through a checklist of tests every time. Bonus, you don't have to return the old one, so you'll have plenty of Logitech unifying receivers.

Edit The page says one year warranty -- did they reduce the warranty period?

I'm sorry, but you are wrong. I have the original Anywhere, the Anywhere 2, and this new redesigned $20 Anywhere in this thread.

This new $20 version feels and looks much cheaper than the original. They used a cheap glossy plastic, unlike the original such has a matte rubberized coating.

That said...

The best mouse by far is the Anywhere 2, as it also has bluetooth built in, as well as a nano receiver if you want to use that instead. There is zero lag using a Bluetooth connection. Also, the materials used are of supreme quality and feel.

My rank of portable mouse are

1, Anywhere 2
2. Original Anywhere
3. This $20 redesigned anywhere, cheap.. But I would say it is worth the $20 to be fair
