If you connect all ten together, you end up with a 10 foot extension cable - or in fact any length cable in one foot increments between 1 and 10 feet. That is super useful.

this is good for those bulky power adapters, would pick up but I already have 20 or 30 of these laying around from previous deals

Look like this is the thinner version than the usual etekcity that always go on sale for $1 more.

looks like bad reviews and use 18AWG not 16AWG like competitor mentioned above. Also question was answered that it only supports 7amps which is not ideal for high current electronics

These look really useful but I would go with a higher gauge for protection

You can get a 16AWG/13A version of these, in whatever quantity you need, for around $1.10 from Monoprice every day. The catch, of course, will be the shipping.

Shipping always seems to kill the deal with Monoprice. Amazon had the Etekcity 10-pack (16-gauge) for $13.99 (after coupon) [amazon.com] last month. 16 gauge would be a bit better IMHO - not sure what power specs an 18 gauge wire provides. Probably be fine for most electronics usage though.

If you check out my review on this EXACT product, you will see that I posted semi-detailed pics and showed just how bad these are! These are absolute JUNK so save your money and grab the ones that always go for about $15/10 on SD. My review is the top one when you go and look at this product, so check it out. Don't risk burning down your house for a few bucks, the ones I bought awhile back didn't even have ANY certifications (markings) on the product. SMH -- DO NOT BUY!
