This was only meant for people who do have verizon and are upgrading anyways for whatever reason, then this deal is for them. If you do not fall into thst category, then this deal is not for you at all. Also, it is not elaborate at all. Step 1.buy a phone from eBay, step 2. Buy a phone from Verizon. Step 3.trade in phone from step 1.

I am not trying to be sparky or anything, just clarifying how simple it is for people who might fit into this narrow circumstance and help them save a little money. I happen to be one of those people, and if I help out at least one more person, then I am happy Smilie
In case anyone is buying a phone from Verizon that qualifies for the $300 trade in promotion, this one qualifies. So basically you buy this phone for 250 (plus 25$ back if you have the eBay bucks 10% promotion), then buy a phone from Verizon that qualifiers for the 300$ promotion, i.e. droid z, s7 etc... Once you order the phone, trade this S6 in for 300$, essentially netting you 50$ (plus 25$ eBay bucks) if you were going to upgrade anyways and did not have one of the qualifying trade in phones.

"The device has been thoroughly inspected, cleaned and refurbished (if necessary) at our manufacturer approved repair center."

So, refurbished at manufacturer approved center (so they say), not really manufacturer refurbished by Samsung.

people here don't buy phones at full price thus effectively negating an money saved through your elaborate scheme

Verizon phones are GSM unlocked, but might not have all the LTE bands AT&T/T-Mobile use
