Hello All,

We are planning to have short family trip to Texas (multiple cities) from Atlanta during December end of this year. We would like to visit Austin and San Antonio for sure but would like your views on any other cities and recommendations on things to see. We were considering flying to one of these cities and then flying out of the last one on our leg.

Any views, tips and deal ideas would be highly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Natural bridge caverns, Sea World, and the Riverwalk are all great in SA. there may be a Groupon for some of the major attractions in San Antonio. In Austin there are amazing restaurants! You have to try breakfast tacos (Torchy's is a favorite) and Barton Springs and Zilker Park are really nice to visit.

Caverns & seaworld are great, but the Alamo was unimpressive to me & the riverwalk a major joke, more like ditchwalk.

The Sixth Floor Museum in Dallas & Sea World, the Riverwalk & the Alamo in SA are great. although you planned for December, it would be better if you go there in September or in October.

I would slightly divert from the topic. You can get lots of suggesstions regarding which places to visit in Texas and there special attraction. What I want to share is the kind of transportation you should look out for, to make the trip with your family, in a more comfortable and less cumbersome way. I would suggest you to land the South America by flight and then look out for an RV or motor home which can be shipped easily to your place of accommodation by some reputed transporting rvs contractor at an affordable cost [wewilltransportit.com], so that you and your family could get the feeling of making the trip with your own comfortable home, which can be, like, cherry on the cake.
