Merbau is gorgeous wood. But, consider one thing: it's not uniform colored, so pictures you see, maybe slightly off what you may get. I seen lighter colors and I personally like them maybe even more. I attached his picture, just to show variation Smilie

Last time they oversold, so it took a while to fulfil the ordersmake sure you apply 110 points at checkout (new accoutns get 100eb points and confirming your email gets you 10 more points) for $2.20 off to drop prices to ones listed above

+ free shipping

A quick interwebs search for Merbau sustainability points to a number of sites citing the destructive nature of harvesting this wood, and long regeneration/growth time required for this tree to mature.

So, aesthetic preferences for a headphone stand aside, it's a shame to see this wood being harvested and sold in a product such as this.
there is always money in the banana stand.
Sorry, gotta say this...First time a banana stand went FP'ed....

These things are terrible.

You need to get the ones from solid Tigerswood. They hold the headphones in such a way that they mate to your head properly and vastly improve the the accuracy and extension of the bass.

Of course it's hard to get real Tigerswood ones for under $1000 but they are quite worth the investment.
