Awesome, was looking for one of these for my Raspberry Pi because the 64 GB microSD I'm using currently takes way too long to backup and uses up a lot of space, even after compression (32 GB!). I'm going to pick up the 8 GB Extreme Plus if the shipping costs aren't too harsh and the reviews I find for this product on Amazon and Newegg are highly favorable. I'll probably pick up the 3-pack so it's cheaper that way.

These aren't microSDs. Not sure if you were aware of that, but it sounds like you need a microSD for your Pi and these are all standard SDs

Sorry, I should clarify. My Raspberry Pi only takes SD cards. However, I have been able to use microSD cards because so far every microSD I've purchased comes with a microSD to SD adapter. Thank you for looking out, though.

In my experience having a company as large as Groupon behind the sale means you are getting taken care of one way or another if warranty assistance is needed. Similar to Amazon they have simply refunded me before when i was unable to get in contact or the correct resolution from the warranty provider. just my experience though.

Groupon sucks. They will close your account, take all your credit if you ask for refund.

Agreed. I had a 1.75L bottle of creamer shipped to me by Groupon. Don't even drink coffee. They accused me of "accidentally" logging into their site, adding this creamer, entering a new CC #, shipping and billing and all from my cell phone. Had to email them over days to rectify the situation. Eventually they said they would do me a "favor" by removing the charge. Haven't used their site since then. Stay away from Groupon.

Last time I bought a $20 coupon from them. The restaurant owner refused to take the coupon. I asked Groupon for refund. 48 hours, I couldn't login to my account.
After Google around, many people also had their account deleted.
They took $20 from me, deleted my account. I hope these people would burn in hell.

I asked what should I do with a product I have no use for and never authorized a purchase for when they first denied refund. Their response, give it to a friend.

That's not really the point. When I buy a SD card I'm doing so with the hope that my data will be safe. No chance I would use a refurbished memory card for anything.

I run all my SD cards, hard drives, and USB keys through diagnostics before deploying them. And I make sure that I all my critical data is under the backup rule "3-2-1".

So if I can save a few $$ by going refurbished, I'll do so. I'll just make sure to do an extra couple rounds of testing. When $$ saved is worth my time...

Sure, you could definitely go through all that. But most people won't. If I'm on a trip and shoot several hundred photos I'd be crushed if I got home and the pics were corrupted/damaged/whatever. While that could definitely happen with a brand new top of the line memory card, I'll take my chances vs. going with a refurb any day. Once I get home I do backup the files to have redundancy.
