Yay.... Another lifetime VPN subscription... - hmmmm.... maybe they will change their name next year to W4RA and invalidate all of the lifetime subscriptions! But, seriously, this is NOT a sustainable business model and I do not see it lasting.

Here's a few more clarifications: Android (and probably IOS) WILL work with openvpn.

I've personally had to edit two of their openvpn configs (Sydney and Sodia under UDP) to make them work...wasn't a major issue...I found one config from moscow worked fine...I copied it and changed the remote line to point to the one's giving me issues and that config worked fine.

If you do join make sure you DO check the box on the page where you enter the promo code that says Unlimited Ports for $5 more. The promo code appeared to cover it from what I could see as the transaction went through and no additional payment method was required.

True but they never promise to "sustain" the offer. It's a limited time offer on stacksocial which will stop being sold at some point. I can see offering some cheap lifetime accounts to get all the attention on their service and word of mouth advertising if folks are happy with the service to get others to use the monthly plans at $2.50 a month.

edit: ANDROID WORKS!
It says no android support,
Op please update post

but I was able to download "Open VPN" android application,

then extract the configuration from NOT THE "TCP 443 For restricted networks" folder, but the normal folder!

paste them into my android SD card folder,

import my nearest city with Open VPN android application, sign in,

Works!

Can also specify to start VPN from boot

Choose a different country or different location to VPN through. Some IP addresses are "suspicious" on some web pages, and VPN traffic is associated with crime.

If their speeds are good then it looks like a great deal to me. For $9 it is worth a try.
Note: Lifetime is valid for only 500 Months Access.

Anyone using this? Are torrents working well? Speeds?

Bought and installed it.
Installation is a little convoluted with multiple verification steps. Speeds are great and torrent works fine.

Thanks, I'm going to give this a go.

Also, there's a 10% off coupon for the StackSocial site if you sign up for your emails. It says its 10% off your first order of 30$ or more, but it works even on this, for a grand whopping total of $8.10 for "Lifetime VPN" ... let's hope it lasts and meets my needs for at least 6 months :-)
