I think someone mentioned for the Samsung S7 intl version that was on ebay recently, that warranty wouldn't apply since it was international...but then someone else said they confirmed with Samsung that it would, since it was purchased in the US. Any clarity for this item? The warranty details listed basically say "contact the seller" which I assume to mean "you're SOL with regards to a warranty."

I had pre-ordered the Axon 7 from Newegg with the headphones for about the same price - but it won't be shipping until September 9th or thereabouts. Any reason to stick with that over cancelling the pre-order and going with this instead? Has the same general features I'm looking for (microsd, usbc, fingerprint sensor preferably on back).

I don't trust LG phones anymore. Boot loops since G2. I don't understand why it's still an issue.

I just love to see that nutheads floating in every LG phone thread whining about boot loop.

"I am not buying any LG TV or headphones or microwave, since they boot loop "... bla..bla..bla..

It has a good camera but I feel that the Axon 7 is a better overall phone at that price.

I love the phone's form factor. I would be on this if this has LG warranty.

I think it only applies to the G4. My G2 and G3 never had the boot loop issues.

Doubt it. There is a fix for the though. You would need to open the case and bend some contacts so it makes better contacts I hear. This will allow the gps antenna to make better contact.

Just note for others who is looking into getting this phone. Last I checked there is no credible root method for this version LG G3. The T-Mobile variant and another I hear are root able.

Obviously it never happened to you? My $600 G2 bootlooped right after 1 yr warranty, most people's G4 bootlooped, and quick google search shows G5 does too. I thought the comment section is a place to post relevant product info.

I've purchased aG4 off eBay last month and no bootloops. Running Android M. The bootloop affected launch day G4s according to an article from Android Authority.

what is boot loop? search lead me to believe it's related to rooting your phone? if so that shouldn't bother most people correct?

Hmmm.. Bummer... thanks for the info... GPS is kinda important... Not sure if it is worth the hassle.
