Does anyone know if this would spread out the charge across all outlets?

Is that enough for two phones?

Enough for 2 phones and 2 tablets. Most smartphones are right around 1A. Some of the bigger boys need 1.8A-2A.

In for 1. Let's see if it's any good.

If my phone only requires 1A, will the 2.4A damage or shorten the battery?

This charger doesn't seem to have smart charge

There are 2 pictures on that page that show 1.2A each, but the description and overall amperage of 9.6A (on the image) say otherwise.

2 Times Faster than Conventional Charging
The dual-USB car charger goes up front and shares a total of 4.8A between whichever two devices you plug in. It is almost nothing but a conventional car charger adapter when talking about the plug; however, when it comes to the additional 2-port USB hub (2.4A per port), it is nothing short of awesome!

This is pretty convient if you want to put a dash cam in the rear and just extend the cable like I did. I don't intent to hard wire it to my battery so this is just perfect. I don't lose a cigarette port. I have two on my 2016 Accord one in the center and one on the bottom of the head unit.

Most phones today are 1.7-2.0amps. tablets are 2.0-2.4. and of course some android phones and tablets can use twice that for quickcharge/turbocharge and usb 3/usb-c

The picture shows 48w/9.6 amps and then below it it says powerful 7.2 amp output? 48w would only be about 4 amps? It's anyone's guess what it really provides.
