Last time I got from this company I upgraded to the "premium" reds and they sent me like 2 and 3 of the same bottle and they don't say what type of wine they are on the labels - Pinot Noir etc. I wouldn't get from them again.

I've bought three cases from them and followed up with a coupon they sent to buy several bottles of a wine that is publicly available for 2x their after-coupon price (Black Fox Cabernet). For the price I've been impressed with all of the wines, and overall about 50% I would rate as great values especially considering you're only paying $6-8/bottle typically. I don't bother with the "premium" upselling. Chances are it's nearly identical wine in the bottle, and if you look at the bottlers on the labels you'll see that many are the same bottlers/vineyards anyway. The California Reds hasn't been great except for a couple select bottles (like the Black Fox I mentioned above). The Merlots have all been MUCH too fruit-forward for my tastes. Much more impressed with the quality of International Reds case I got. The white wines have all been enjoyable.
For a non-subscription setup like this, it's been pretty buying anything at your local grocery store to try out, and at these prices it's all a steal so I don't complain about a few crappy ones.

this deal has been around for months. every time I see it I almost want to bite but then I remember the extra $20 shipping charge.. might as well just buy local if you've got that option
