Got a postcard from mail and also double check their website. Looks like their Full Syn oil sale is on again. Maybe YMMV.nod

All modern oils are fine but why would anybody buy NAPA oil when you have no idea what additive packages it contains ie who formulated this AND you can buy Mobil 1, a proven oil formula, for $2/qt after rebate at Walmart?

Napa brand is made by Ashland. It's either straight Valvoline or maybe has a little less additives. It's perfectly good oil, but I'm not paying 3 when castrol/mobil group IV is 2 bucks (along with pennz ultra) lol.

Mobil 1 group III+ sucks.

Good Question, if you head over to BITOG and look at oil analysis NAPA is similar to Valvoline Synthetic (uses slightly better base stocks).

because this has no rebate and you're getting a 1qt bottle, not a 5qt jug... that may be useful for some people

also there have been reports of people waiting more than 8 weeks and still no rebate

finally, I doubt there is much difference to the end result for your every day car between this oil and your fancy pants royal purple

Napa oil is made by valvoline. I worked sales for Napa ond still maintain a reputable relationship with the company. Mobil one just withstands higher heat as in racing. for everyday drivers it more than perfect. And if your racing you should be using no other than Royal purple. Exxon is rich enough
