Not a deal per se, but its a tax exempt weekend in MO.

The tax holiday applies to the following, according to the revenue department:

• Clothing — any article having a taxable value of $100 or less

• School supplies — not to exceed $50 per purchase

• Computer software — taxable value of $350 or less

• Personal computers — not to exceed $1,500

• Computer peripheral devices — not to exceed $1,500

• Graphing calculators — not to exceed $150

So pretty much no tax at the Brentwood Microcenter on videocards and hdd's, etc? If only I had some money to waste.

City of Brentwood is charging tax - but no Missouri state tax. Tax could be 1% to 4%. St Peters City is charging 2% Tax

Ah, figures. Guess that beats their normal basically 10% tax, but still crummy to charge any tax during their yearly, overly touted, 'tax free' weekend.
