Yea, i feel like 800 for a 960m isn't worth it but the y700 even non-touch is rarely below 800.

I did get the nontouch version for 580$, but that was due to warranty issues with my 700.

The only thing i wish lenovo would fix is the red keys, like there is literally no point in making them red seeing that the led are red already.

the Y series has a motherboard burnout issue, and eliminating the HD for SSD doesn't help much more.

For the newer series?

I didn't see anything about that, all I know is some ppl are complaining about the screen, and the edges of the laptop chips very easily.

Exactly, you missed the newegg deal that was posted a month ago. y700 touch, 16gb of ram, 960m +4 gig for 800 bucks.

Luckily the one I received was broken and lenovo sent me a new y700 with a few upgraded features.
