SAPPHIRE NITRO+ Radeon RX 470 100407NT+4GOCL 4GB [jet.com]. Nice price/performance ration given your a new Jet customer, or you're still on the TRIPLE15 promo. Performance runs side-by-side with a 1060/480. I'm tempted on biting, but the card has been reviewed and is showing power consumption higher than a RX 480 and pars with a 1070 without an overclock.

Bit-Tech review. [bit-tech.net]

I understand these are hard to come by (they were just released this week) but isn't $179 MSRP?

All the third party card manufactures (AIBs) are price gouging and all RX 470's start at $199 right now. This is completely bonkers pricing, since the RX 480 4GB is supposed to cost $199, and has been no show!

Yes, for the reference cards though, I believe. Non-reference designs usually carry a $20-$30 premium.

MSRP is just a suggested price.

The demand for this card and the 480 are insane right now.

Wow, AMD really dropped the ball. I was hoping for a 3rd party rx 480 (this deal triggered that alert), but like you said: non existent. I ended up ordering a gigabyte 1060 g1 from jet for $293. Still a little higher than MSRP. It's a great time be a PC gamer (once these prices settle)!

This will be better in a few months. There will better discounts and rebates, games included, and most importantly, cards with better coolers on them. It's completely senseless to buy anything right now.

I really don't think this card will be much lower that $180 in the next 6 months.

Anytime there is a node shrink, there is a massive resettling of performance to price, i.e. value. We just had one to 16nm, so yes it is great. Although VR throws a wrench into this, because even a 1060 is barely enough and struggling. o_0

There will be 2-3 years until another shrink.

By the way, like you I got the Asus Dual 1060 from Jet, but it's been sitting in processing for 4-5 days now. When did you order? Let me know if yours ship!
