EVGA GTX 980 $279.99 / GTX 970 $169.99 B-Stock

EVGA is dumping their old videocards for prices well below what I have seen them go for anywhere. I reckon these will get sold out very quickly. Don't need one myself but if you do, insane prices! There's a ton of different models that are heavily discount, click around on them to see which ones go for what prices.

You forgot to mention that these are refurbished cards.

You need to put B stock on the title. These are not brand new items. I got the email notification from EVGA regarding B stock and these are just recent price drops for them.

Was just updating it as you mentioned it. Thanks for the down vote Smilie Still not going to find refurbished ones for even close to this price. Even on eBay used ones from private parties go for more than this, let alone when purchasing directly from EVGA.

You still didn't put refurbished in the title so yes, i will downvote you for incorrect information.

It's got b-stock in the title, but thank you for your suggestion.

That is tempting. I didn't get the email and just happened to be on their site. For $169 the GTX 970 is pretty nice.

Typing from my phone but here is the link. These are refurbished units with a one year warranty however these prices are the lowest I've seen.

No free shipping from what I know as I had to pay shipping for two cards + $4.99 for signature charges.

that 980 gtx 79 dollars more. is used and is older tech and consumes more power than 480 rx that performs equally well.

The real deal is the 980ti's Still not as good as current crop but for around 330 shipped... not bad at all.

980 Ti in every form is toe to toe with 1070 in terms of performance. Every other argument that it's old technology or requires more power are moot points in my opinion. I play at 1080p with vsync enabled (so everything is locked at 60fps) and graphics at max detail and this will serve me well for the next 4-5 years. I was in the market for two 1070 but ended up saving $240 by opting to go with these instead. And it's quiet as well.
Also for Lightroom and Adobe Premiere pro this card is neck and neck with the 1070 for rendering performance. Who cares if it draws more power. It's also an extremely quiet card. This was a superb deal and I know I did will going with this.

I agree. You're essentially getting a 1070 performance wise but for 75% of the cost

There is none if you get a dud. I checked online and everyone who purchased b-stock is extremely happy and can't differentiate between these and brand new boards plus EVGA will send a replacement board free of charge if you receive a dud.
